"Hummel" as part of the name of this part of the tribe of the Likatier is important in two respects. On the one hand two leading persons of this area have a common ancestor named Hummel (ca. 1600), on the other hand this area has the image of active bees and/or bumblebees. In this naming the members of the division wanted to express their devotion to their common ancestor and symbolize the associated experience of a certain escort of their own ancestors in relation to their economic and professional activities. In the Hummel area, several of the tribe's businesses are grouped together, which are active in the service sector.
